Referring a client? I'd love to work together.

As a Certified Clinical Animal Behaviourist registered with the ABTC and APBC, I accept vet referrals for complex behaviour cases. All behavioural work is undertaken following veterinary referral, in line with APBC and FABC guidance.

My fees are covered by most pet insurance providers, which makes the referral pathway straightforward for your clients.

What I can help with

  • Separation anxiety

  • General anxiety and fearfulness

  • Canine aggression and reactivity — including inter-dog and human-directed aggression

  • Fears and phobias

  • Behaviour problems with a suspected medical component

My qualifications

  • MSc Clinical Animal Behaviour and Welfare (Distinction)

  • Certified Clinical Animal Behaviourist (CCAB) — ASAB

  • ABTC Registered Clinical Animal Behaviourist and Animal Training Instructor

  • Full Member — Association of Pet Behaviour Counsellors (APBC)

  • Fellow — Fellowship of Animal Behaviour Clinicians (FABC)

I'm one of a relatively small number of CCAB-qualified behaviourists in the area, which means I meet the highest professional standards in an unregulated industry.

How to refer

You can refer via the online form on my website, or download and email the referral form to kim@poochesgalore.co.uk. I'm also happy to have a quick call to discuss a case before you refer.
