Dog training that actually works — for you and your dog

There's a lot of dog training advice out there. Generic classes, conflicting YouTube videos, well-meaning friends with very different opinions.

What I offer is different: one-to-one, personalised training built around your dog's personality, your lifestyle, and what you actually want to achieve.

And because you only ever work with me — not a junior trainer or a class assistant — you get the same consistent, expert guidance from your first call to your last session.

Contact me for a free, no obligation call to discuss you and your dog.

The teenage months are when a lot of owners feel like they've lost the dog they thought they were getting. Everything you taught them seems to have vanished. They're testing every boundary.

This is normal — but that doesn't mean you have to just ride it out. Having a plan makes this phase much easier.

A dog that pulls on the lead can make every walk a battle. It's tiring, frustrating, and it puts people off walking their dogs as much as they should.

I'll help you understand why your dog pulls and give you a practical plan to make lead walking genuinely enjoyable — for both of you.

Testimonials…

Puppy Training

We turned to Kim when our miniature dachshund, Rua, was 6-months old and really struggling with separation anxiety. At around 5-6 months, Rua suddenly became really anxious when left alone and this became very problematic at night time. One of us would often end up sleeping in the living room with him to stop him crying and ensure he could sleep. Otherwise, he would spend the whole night anxious and crying. He was also generally wary of other people and wouldn’t go up to them.

Kim didn’t shy away from the size of the task and was very honest that it would involve a lot of work from us. However, her calmness and confidence made us feel like we could help Rua reduce his anxiety and build his confidence. Over a series of four video consultations, Kim got to know us, Rua, and our lives and shared her in-depth, step-by-step approach to overcoming separation anxiety and building his confidence. She would carefully review our progress since the last session and give helpful advice based on any challenges we had faced during that time.

We have seen significant improvements in Rua since working with Kim. He is now able to be left alone and is also far more confident, especially around people, approaching them and feeling comfortable enough to let them touch him. We would highly recommend Kim!

Thank you Kim for all your help with Tait. Can 100% recommend your service to anyone who has to deal with separation anxiety with their dogs. You been so patient with us and answered all our questions even after the training when we fell back into old habits. So nice to work with someone who’s main priority is the dog and not the human (who clearly gets it wrong). I feel so much better leaving a content dog at home who is not anxious, which makes me less worried. It’s hard work but well worth it. Thanks so much, money spend well.

I was referred to Kim from a friend and we arrange our first meeting over Zoom as we lived a while away. I was instantly reassured and felt so relieved to have a plan in place. Lexi (Vizsla) was showing signs of anxiety from day one of having her at home at 10 weeks. Couldn’t leave her in the kitchen for 5 seconds without whining and me and my husband were taking turns sleeping on the sofa. We now have a 5 month old pup that sleeps through the night and we can leave in the house whilst we are away for 25 minutes. We have a super strong bond with Lexi now and we haven’t exposed her to any unnecessary stress along the way. Thank you Kim for putting us in the right path and for all your support.
